Creating Peace Through Thoughtful Planning and Support

I provide education, emotional, and spiritual support during life transitions.
My primary focus is on those who have experienced loss, those curious about how to protect their families in the event of a loss, and individuals approaching the end of life.
I have the privilege of guiding people through all of life's transitions. Families reach out to me for various reasons, including:
- Welcoming a new baby
- Experiencing pregnancy after the loss of a child
- Processing grief following the loss of a loved one and creating rituals to help move forward with love
- Preparing for the uncertainties of life and ensuring their families will be taken care of
- Facing a challenging diagnosis and wanting to create a protective plan for themselves and their families
Making these decisions can be overwhelming. Questions arise, such as: Should we get life insurance? Will it be sufficient? If I’m in the hospital, when should I consider going home, and is that even an option? What do I want my end-of-life experience to look like? What are my options for after that, including funerals? How do I discuss these matters with my children? Will talking about this bring death closer?
These are the questions I've heard from many of my clients and friends, and that’s why I’m here—to help.
Hello
My name is Mallorie McCarthy
I am a full-spectrum doula and planner, dedicated to supporting individuals through birth, postpartum experiences, loss, and end-of-life transitions.
Outside of work, I am a mom to a vivacious and brilliant little girl. My husband and I enjoy spending time in our garden, cooking, and I particularly love working with herbs for healing.
I was first drawn to end-of-life work in 2014 when I saw a video of Alua Arthur, a New York Times bestselling author and founder of Going with Grace, explaining her mission and the reasons she felt called to this work. It was so profoundly moving that I always felt I would one day pursue it as a career. In 2020, I finally decided to move forward with my training in both end-of-life care and as a birth doula. One area I noticed was lacking support was for mothers experiencing loss or those giving birth to their rainbow babies. I knew this was a gap I wanted to help fill.
